WHAT IS KEY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS

In this Article, we are going to discuss about WHAT IS KEY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS?

Electricity – The branch of science and engineering which deals with electricity generation, Transmission, Distribution and consumption of electrical engineer. Electrical is all about Generation (V), Transmission (I), Utilization (R), Measurement (V=IR & P=VI), and Manual Control (Switch /Regulator).

 

ELECTRONICS – The branch of science and engineering which deals with the flow of electrons through vacuum or gas and semiconductor, that’s called electronics. Electronics is all about Automatic Control (y = f(x)). To implement the automatic control, in the initial day's Vacuum Tubes were used, then Transistors were used.

 

Electrical components + Electronics components = Electronic Device

Here below is Difference between Electrical and Electronics

Electrical devices convert the electrical energy to other form like heat, light and mechanical etc, for example when motor is running then electrical energy are converted in mechanical and when bulb is glowing then electrical energy are converted into light and heat energy.

Electronic device like diode, micro controller etc that is not converted any energy, all electronic device which only controlling the flow of electron.

The electrical device directly works on the current due to which it gives the quick response.

The electrons are the only moving charge of the electronic device and hence their response time is less.

Electrical devices use the electrical energy for performing the work like which types of electrical machine use electrical.

Electronics device uses the control flow of electrons for performing the any task. Means when current flow its mean flow of current which control by electronics.

In electrical we use the material for making electrical equipment mostly use copper metal and aluminum metal.

In electronics we use the material for making electronics components  mostly use the semiconductor material like Silicon and Germanium  etc.

In electrical can use A.C 230V/ 50Hzand D.C. current

In electronics can use  only  D.C. like 3.3V, 5V and 12V etc.

Electrical equipments work on high voltage, Electrical equipment maximum work on minimum 230V AC

Electronics work on low voltage, Mainly equipment work on below 24V DC.

Electrical device which generate the electricity like transformer , generator and motor etc.

Electronic device which are working on flow of current like diode, transistor , Microprocessor, amplifier etc.

Electrical and Electronics have one similarity both are working on flow of electrons.

Electrical device cannot control by automatically like motor are running then we cannot control speed by any remote if we would like to control then we have to use other sensor and control circuit which are electronics.

Electronic device can control by automatically like T.V. we can change any channel & On , Off  we can do by remote and we are using phone that is also electronics through this we are doing all types of work automatically.

Electrical Equipment list are like – AC, Fridge, Motor, Fan, Washing Machine, Bulb , vending machine, Press etc.

Electronic equipment list are like – LED TV, Mobile ,Digital Camera ,Laptop etc.

Example of electrical components is resistor, Capacitor and Inductor.

Example of electronic components are Diode, Transistor, BJT and micro controller etc

Electrical devices are groups of electrical components connected with some metallic wires to carry out some operation.

Electronic devices are groups of electronic components connected with some metallic wires to carry out some operation.

The electrical device is heavy and larger in size and hence requires more space

The electronics components are very smaller and placed on the single chip or we can say it requires very less space.
